These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Small Claims Kit (the "Service"), available at smallclaimskit.com. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Not Legal Advice

Small Claims Kit is a self-help document preparation tool. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Documents produced by the Service are AI-generated drafts. You are solely responsible for reviewing them, confirming they fit your situation and your state's rules, and deciding whether to file. For legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

3. Payment

The Service is offered as a one-time purchase of $29 USD per case kit. Payments are processed by Stripe. There are no subscriptions and we do not store your full card number on our servers.

4. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your case kit, email help@smallclaimskit.com within 7 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Prepare documents you know to be false, fraudulent, or harassing;
• Impersonate another person or entity;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its outputs at scale; or
• Violate any applicable law.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the information you enter into the intake form and of the documents generated for you. You grant us a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. AI Output Disclaimer

AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. State small claims rules, filing fees, and claim limits change. Always verify court-specific information with your local court before filing.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the outcome of any legal proceeding.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
